It is designed to be used in industrial or environmental applications for general purpose investigations such as shock or pulsation checks, basic machinery condition monitoring and comparative studies, quality specification checks, or general engineering work. The simple controls provide for easy operation and the large LCD readout allows easy viewing of data. The handheld meter, housed in a rugged case, is extremely lightweight, weighing about 14.6 oz.
